The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka by its letter dated 11th May 2021 set out guidelines to the Inspector General of Police regarding the arrest of persons violating quarantine rules. Based on that letter, Police Headquarters in Colombo contacted all the Police Stations in Sri Lanka and taken the necessary steps accordingly.
