Panadura Police misconduct – Suo motu inquiry at the Human Rights Commission.  Two incidents of misconduct of the police are under investigation by the Commission;

1. a) The Chief lnspector of Kalutara pushed and shoved two female police officers and a female individual during his duties at the site (evidenced by the (video footage)
2. b) Made orders to stop the peaceful march unlawfully and arrest participants.
