HRCSL Expands its Office Network
The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka expanded its office network to Sabaragamuwa Province and on the 1st of December 2023, HRCSL opened a new office at No 654/A, Colombo Road, New Town, Rathnapura. The main purpose of the opening of this office is to provide services to people in Sabaragamuwa Province including the plantation community in the Rathnapura District.
Mr. Nimal G Punchihewa, Commissioner of the HRCSL was the chief guest of the event. The district Secretary of the Rathnapura, senior police officers, other government officers, and civil society representatives participated and also Mr. Ranjith Uyangoda, Secretary of HRCSL, and Directors and senior officers of the HRCSL participated in this event.
