Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka has sent a letter to the Director-General of Health Services on 28.05.2021 regarding the prioritization of COVID-19 vaccinations. The letter has focused on the COVID -19 strategy and pointed out that priority shall be given to front-line health workers and others who may come to direct contact with infected persons when carrying out their duties. In addition to the two groups, vulnerable people (due to age or health condition) also shall receive priority.
